<Poem>
<End Poem>
<Translation>
GAGGLE upon gaggle return home beyond the frontier pass and are gone.
Why do you wing your way alone?
Why do you call out for your lost comrades?
Why do you come so late to your winter pool?
Against the island mist you pass over low in the darkness.
Though you follow the cold moonlight over the barrier passes,
Will you not meet and fall to the arrow?
Oh! Lonely goose, you must be on your guard.
